Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) responder

OCSP is a protocol for determining the status of a digital certificate online. It replaces or supplements the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) mechanism. When implemented by a certification authority, the OCSP responder checks the validity of the certificate online.

Digital time stamping server

The PKIX time stamping protocol binds a piece of digital information to a specific time and date to prove its existence at that particular point in time. In conjunction with PKI, a time stamping server ensures a trustworthy, comprehensive and complete application security framework.
