CMC, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy
Services (TCS) has declared results for
the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
The company's consolidated net profit
in the quarter grew by 93.2 per cent to
Rs 23 crore compared with Rs 11.9 crore
in the corresponding quarter last year.
The year on year revenues increased by
13.6 per cent to Rs 275.2 crore from Rs
242.2 crore.
On a sequential basis,
the company's net profits grew by 42.3
per cent from Rs. 16.16 crore and revenues
were up 9.5 per cent from Rs 251.2 crore.
The domestic market accounts for almost
65 per cent of the company's revenues
and the remaining 35 per cent comes from
the international market. The focus on
education, systems integration and customer
services businesses, has contributed to
the company's growth
