MUMBAI (UNI): Computer-hardware manufacturer, CMC today reported a net profit of Rs 19.55 crore during the quarter ended March 2007, a rise of a whopping 128.65 per cent against Rs 8.55 crore during the corresponding period last year. However, the company's net sales have declined by 3.46 per cent to Rs 249.65 as against Rs 258.61 crore during the corresponding period last year.

For the full year, net profit rose by 45.32 per cent to Rs 64.10 crore, for the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 44.11 crore during the corresponding period last year. Here, even the net sales rose by 19.32 per cent to Rs 988.91 crore as against Rs 828.79 crore during the corresponding period last year, CMC added.
