solutions provider CMC Ltd on Monday posted
a net profit of Rs 8.55 crore for the
quarter ended March 31 as compared to
a net loss of Rs 16.72 crore for the corresponding
quarter previous year.
Total income rose to Rs 259.71 crore for
the fourth quarter in 2005-06 from Rs
215.45 crore in the year-ago period, up
20.54 per cent, the company informed the
BSE.
The company's board has recommended a
dividend of 50 per cent on shares of Rs
10 each for the year ended March 31 as
against 45 per cent paid for the previous
year, subject to shareholders approval.
For the year ended March 2006, the company
reported a net profit of Rs 44.11 crore
as against Rs 23.05 crore for the corresponding
period last fiscal.
The total income increased to Rs 857.75
crore for FY 05-06 from Rs 782.47 crore
in FY 04-05.
The Group posted a consolidated net profit
of Rs 9.95 crore for the quarter ended
March 31 as compared to a net loss of
Rs 16.52 crore for the same quarter previous
year.
Consolidated total income of the Group
increased to Rs 279.05 crore for Q4 2005-06
from Rs 223.20 crore in Q4 FY 04-05.
For the year ended March 2006, the Group
reported a consolidated net profit of
Rs 48.54 crore as compared to Rs 24.79
crore in the year ago period. Its consolidated
total income increased to Rs 916.15 crore
for FY 05-06 from Rs 814.21 crore in FY
