CMC bags order for billing system

CMC Limited, a Tata Group company, has announced that it has signed an agreement to implement computerised hand-held billing system for Dakshin-anchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd, a UP government undertaking. This would include a door-to-door survey, master data updation, GIS mapping, meter reading and bill generation through hand held machine, payment collection through cheque, bank reconciliation and meter installation, a release said.
