CMC Q3 net up 7.4 per cent at Rs 10.88 cr

CMC Ltd has posted a 7.4 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 10.88 crores for the third quarter ended December 31, 2003 compared to Rs 10.13 crores reported in same period previous fiscal. Total income in the period under review has increased to Rs 201.76 crores as against Rs 140.55 crores posted in Q3 of last financial year, the Tata group company said. On a consolidated basis, the CMC group has registered a net profit of Rs 8.62 crores and total income of Rs 209.89 crores for the Q3 of fiscal 2003-04, it added.
