CMC posts Rs 10.88 cr net profit in Q3

CMC Ltd has reported a marginal increase in net profit to Rs 10.88 crores for the third quarter ended December 2003, as compared to Rs 10.13 crores during the corresponding period last year. Total income grew to Rs 201.76 crores (Rs 140.55 crores). On a consolidated basis including subsidiaries, it has reported a net profit of Rs 8.62 crores and total income is Rs 209.89 crore during the quarter, according to the company filing with the Stock Exchange, Mumbai.
