CMC net up 78 pc

Mumbai, January 14, 2007: TATA-CONTROLLED CMC Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest software firm has reported 78.81 per cent increase in quarterly profits at Rs. 19.24 crore as the company outperformed its margin expectations and significant increase in international revenues. Revenues of the company stood at Rs. 288.01 crore for the third quarter as against Rs. 195.95 crore posted a year ago, a company release said here. "During the quarter there is an improvement in international revenues. We outperformed our margin expectations," CMC CFP JK Gupta said.
