CTT, an eLandia company, and CMC Limited, a Tata Consulting Services Ltd. subsidiary, sign education agreement for Latin America

eLandiaCTT, a leader in talent development services for information and communication technology professionals, and CMC Limited, a Tata Consulting Services Ltd. subsidiary, have signed an agreement to leverage their core strengths in Information Technology (IT) education. As a result of the alliance, CTT and CMC will jointly offer specialised professional advancement programs for software development specialists for the first time in Latin America.

The specialised program is an alternative to traditional education that fills the gap between theory and practice and reduces time for job placement. Its courses integrate CMC coursework, which has been taught in more than 170 education centers in India, with CTT's content and methodology in a portfolio designed for career-minded IT professionals. The first course to be launched within the program is Next Generation Software Development, which is based on CMC-Pro product and includes certification, refresher and specialisation options.

CTT's extensive regional presence in more than 11 countries and vast penetration of the market, allows CMC to extend its educational services to millions in Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Next Generation Software Professional includes the CMC-PRO course, enhanced within a core framework of advanced programming concepts and languages aligned with today's business environment. It also covers complementary business skills that contribute to enhanced job performance. The enhancements seek to not only provide technical certification, but also to teach skills that are commonly taught to college students or which senior technical specialists learn through experience.
