Chief
Minister of Karnataka, Shri S M Krishna
inaugurated "KHAJANE" —
The online treasury computerisation project
on July 9, 2003 at Bangalore.
Mr
S S Ghosh was invited as a special guest
of Government of Karnataka and received
the momento from the Chief Minister on
behalf of CMC. Mr Ashok Kumar and
Mr S R G Prasad explained the salient
features of the hardware and software
to the chief minister.
 The
computerisation of 216 treasuries undertaken
by CMC Limited included design and development
of total solution software, supply and
installation of hardware, setting up of
Disaster Recovery Centre at Dharwar, training
of 600 treasury officials and facility
management for five years.
The finance secretary appreciated the
teamwork, commitment and the high level
of professionalism demonstrated by the
CMC team. Elizabeth Johnson led the software
team. Mr S S Ghosh and Mr Chinta Prakash
addressed the CMC team and congratulated
them for the impressive performance.
