Senior officers can consolidate the information at higher units from time to time, for analysis and decision-making.

Strengths

The software can be replicated across police departments of states and Union territories in India. It is possible to link the system to police systems in other countries too. Administration functions can be replicated in academies like the National Police Academy, the Central Industrial Security Force's training academy, NISA, the Fire Services Institute, the Central Reserve Police Force training colleges, Border Security Force training colleges, etc.

Its additional strengths:

  • Horizontal integration with co-functionary departments
  • Web access to information on
    • Missing persons, vehicles, etc.
